S. Africa Repeals Apartheid Law
Your article “Apartheid Foes Fear Repeal of Sanctions Is Unstoppable” (Part A, June 20) goes to confirm once again the definition of a “fanatic” as one who, having lost sight of the original objective, redoubles the effort!
Proponents of sanctions care little that 40% of the black work force of South Africa is currently unemployed. They do not wish to acknowledge the recent actions of the South African legislature in removing the last remaining apartheid laws. They simply intend to redouble their efforts!
