Augustine Martinez, 38, will assume the duties of vice president and general manager of KVEA-Channel 52, Glendale, after the transfer of Stephen J. Levin to senior vice president and general manager of WNJU-Channel 47, the Telemundo Group Inc. owned-and-operated station serving New York and New Jersey. Levin, 42, will succeed Donald K. Parsons, who resigned.
Martinez joined KVEA in 1989 as vice president of business and station manager. Previously, he was vice president of finance and administration at KTTV-Channel 11.
Levin will move to the East Coast to head New Jersey-based WNJU, the station with a 25-year history of service to the Latino community. Levin joined KVEA in 1987 and served most recently as senior vice president and general manager.
