Nation IN BRIEF : TEXAS : Brutality Probe Is a Priority, FBI Says

The investigation of police brutality remains high on the FBI’s list of priorities, agency chief William S. Sessions told an NAACP convention in Houston. Sessions said the FBI is investigating charges of brutality in the case of Rodney G. King, the Los Angeles motorist who was videotaped being beaten by police officers. He said he expected the FBI to begin investigating the videotaped attack of a handcuffed suspect by a police officer in Ft. Worth.
