Wal-Mart, Mexico Retailer Join in Venture: Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Cifra, the largest retailers in the United States and Mexico, respectively, have agreed to form a joint venture that will develop trade between the two countries. It has immediate plans to open wholesale clubs in the Mexico City market to serve small-business members and selected consumer groups.
