West Covina : $57.2-Million Budget OKd
The City Council on Monday approved a $57.2-million combined city, Redevelopment Agency budget and capital improvement fund.
The Redevelopment Agency’s portion of the budget is $6.6 million. The capital improvement total is $3.3 million.
The city’s fiscal 1991-92 budget, which includes funding for a second paramedic unit, is a 5.7% increase over last year’s budget of $44.79 million. About $23.2 million will go toward public safety, and $13.8 million is for maintaining streets, sewers, storm drains and traffic lights.
