Seoul, Beijing to Discuss Further Ties: South Korea and China may begin aviation and trade talks late this month as a further step toward normalizing relations, officials in Seoul said. One official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the negotiations would be undertaken by two state firms, Korea Trade Promotion Corp. and the Chinese Committee for the Promotion of International Trade. One focus of the talks will be opening regular charter flights between Seoul and two Chinese cities, Shanghai and Tianjin.
