LA HABRA : Contractor Joins Traffic Commission
Donald Brigante, a plumbing contractor and longtime La Habra resident, has been appointed to the Traffic Commission to complete the term of Patrick Kelley.
Kelley resigned from the Traffic Commission after taking a seat on the Planning Commission.
Brigante has lived in the city for 33 years and has been a member of the Lions Club for 30 years, serving as president, zone chairman and deputy district governor. He was also instrumental in organizing the La Habra Lioness Club in 1978.
Brigante said he took the Traffic Commission post because he “just wanted to get involved in city government.”
The volunteer commissioners serve two-year terms and meet twice a month.
