Commission’s LAPD Report

Share

The citizens of Los Angeles should give Chief Gates a pat on the back. There is no person in this country that could do a better job than Gates. He is doing a terrific job with only 229 police officers for every 100,000 residents, compared with Washington, which has 658 police officers for every 100,000 residents.

With all the cutbacks in Los Angeles, the money we spent on the Christopher Commission could have been better spent on hiring more police officers. This report should have been conducted by the Police Commission. And in conclusion, maybe the mayor should only have two terms too?
