BF Goodrich Co.: The Akron, Ohio, chemical company said second-quarter earnings totaled $8.3 million, down 85% from the same period a year ago. Revenue was up slightly to $637 million. The 1990 results included an after-tax gain of $20.5 million from the sale of its Uniroyal Goodrich tire company to Groupe Michelin of France.
