Region : New Galanter Chief of Staff
Sixth District City Councilwoman Ruth Galanter has decided to begin her second term with a new chief of staff, Betty Fisher, who will replace Ann Haskins, who has resigned “to pursue other interests.”
Fisher is already on Galanter’s staff, serving since last year as special assistant for environmental affairs and airport liaison, according to a press release issued by Galanter.
She has served on the Los Angeles County Regional Planning Commission and was also office manager for the presidential campaigns of Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964 and Robert F. Kennedy in 1968.
