CalComp Aussie Venture: CalComp Inc., maker of computer-graphics equipment in Anaheim, said it has opened a subsidiary in Australia to promote its full line of plotters, printers and other computer equipment. The office is in Stanmore, near Sydney. The company’s other Pacific region subsidiaries are in China and Japan. “Australia represents an outstanding opportunity for us and our valued selling partners, and we felt it essential to get closer to the customer,” CalComp President William P. Conlin said.
