MOS Scale: MOS Scale International Ltd., a Costa Mesa manufacturer of mailing and shipping equipment, has been awarded a Postal Service contract for 60,000 postage printers. The contract, which includes an option for 20,000 more printers, is valued at $21 million, the company said. The device--called a postage validation imprinter--prints postage and bar codes labels for consumer parcels at post office windows. The bar-coded labels will allow the post office to sort and trace mail more effectively than now, the company said.
