Graphix Name Change: The Graphix Zone, an Irvine supplier of custom computers and computer-related services, is changing its name to the Graphics Resource Center.
Under that name, the Irvine retailer will transform itself from a reseller of equipment to a company that refers corporate buyers to other resellers of the products.
The company will continue to sell some equipment that can be used for multimedia computer-graphics applications.
