Customs Denies Sidestepping Honda Fine: Lawmakers accused the Treasury Department of pressuring the department’s Customs Service division to sidetrack a $20-million penalty proposed against the makers of Honda automobiles for allegedly cheating on a trade agreement. Treasury denied the allegation.
