Red Cross Seeking Aid for Chinese Flood Victims
The League of Red Cross on Friday asked for help in raising more than $3.3 million to aid hundreds of thousands of Chinese left homeless by last month’s floods. Red Cross workers have been helping to evacuate victims and find new places for them to live.
Contributors may send checks earmarked for “China Disaster Relief” to the American Red Cross, Los Angeles Chapter, 2700 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA. 90057, or to any local Red Cross office.
