Sale of ATI Medical Inc.’s Software Unit Is Canceled

Share

ATI Medical Inc. said the proposed sale of its CAMS Inc. computer software unit to a Phoenix investor group was canceled by mutual consent.

ATI, a Glendale-based concern that mainly rents medical equipment to hospitals, had announced in May a tentative agreement for the sale. Terms were not disclosed, except that the purchase was to have been made with cash and notes. ATI did not explain why the deal fell through.

CAMS sells software that helps hospital computers monitor equipment usage and inventory.
