Storage Tech Buying XL-Datacomp: Storage Technology Corp. of Louisville, Colo., is buying XL-Datacomp Inc., a Hinsdale, Ill., distributor of mid-range computers, in a $160-million agreement. Completion is subject to approval by stockholders of XL-Datacomp. Under the transaction, each share of XL-Datacomp common stock will be exchanged for 0.2675 of a share of StorageTek common stock.
