Gorbachev Goes South

MOSCOW —
President Mikhail S. Gorbachev, weary after a superpower summit and exhausting negotiations on a new Union Treaty, has begun his summer holiday. The official Soviet Tass news agency said he flew Sunday to the Crimea, site of the presidential retreat.
