TUSTIN : Cable TV Critic OKs Picture on New Line

For months, many of Tustin’s cable viewers have been having intermittent problems with the picture and sound of live broadcasts from Tustin City Council meetings.

But this week, Mayor Charles E. Puckett announced that Continental Cablevision has installed a new line expected to clear up the problem.

And just to check things out, he took a moment Monday night to call Councilman Richard B. Edgar’s wife, Helen, who was watching the meeting on television. She reported that the reception was perfect.

Helen Edgar has complained about the problem, chiding the council for allowing it to continue so residents could not watch council meetings from their homes.
