Hot Property

I have been a reader of the Los Angeles Times for many years, but am getting tired of seeing your Hot Property column each and every Sunday on the first page of the Real Estate section.

There seems to be too much concern with fantasy than with reality in this city. When the average reader looks at this section to assist in the potential purchase of a home, the prices which are found represent a housing situation that is just another aspect of our deteriorating society. Most people cannot afford to touch anything resembling “decent” housing.

Why don’t you stop making such a big deal about the multimillion dollar purchases and sales of the rich and famous?
