GARDEN GROVE : Sobriety Checkpoint Will Be Conducted
The Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint at an undisclosed location within the city from 9 p.m. Saturday to 3 p.m. Sunday.
The program, which will have officers randomly checking drivers for sobriety, is directed toward reducing the number of injuries and deaths caused by drivers who have been drinking, Sgt. Jack Ray said.
The city’s sobriety checkpoints are being conducted within guidelines set by the attorney general’s office.
