The Southern California Conservatory of Music is accepting applications for full tuition scholarships for the 1991-92 academic year. The school offers one scholarship each in the preparatory division for piano, violin and flute. Applicants cannot be older than 18. There will also be one scholarship each, no age limit, in the conservatory division for piano, violin and voice. Applications are available at the conservatory, 8711 Sunland Blvd., Sun Valley. The Valley Interfaith Council will hold its annual charity golf tournament Sept. 30 at the Braemar Country Club, 4001 Reseda Blvd., Tarzana. Registration will be from 9 to 11 a.m., with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Tickets are $125 per person, which includes green fees, cart, prizes, a barbecue lunch on the course, a dinner and sports memorabilia auction following the tournament. First Strike Rape Prevention, a nonprofit group featuring a rape crisis hot line, counseling and community service programs, will offer a six-week seminar to help women become more assertive and self-confident. The sessions, held Saturdays, are offered through the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks at the Sepulveda Recreation Center, 8801 Kester Ave., Panorama City. A $395 donation is requested.
