Italian Trains Collide

REGGIO EMILIA, Italy —
A passenger and a freight train collided head-on Tuesday near this central Italian city, injuring 28 people.
Railway officials said the passenger train apparently failed to stop at a red signal and crashed into the freight train on the Reggio Emilia-Sassuolo line.
