Lamarr Update: A court appearance for former film star Hedy Lamarr has been delayed while prosecutors in Sanford, Fla., decide whether to file a theft charge in a shoplifting case. Lamarr, 76, was arrested Aug. 1 after employees of a drugstore said she took $21.48 worth of personal items without paying. Her arraignment had been set for Tuesday but was delayed until Sept. 17, giving the state attorney’s office more time to review the case. Lamarr filed a not-guilty plea this week.
