Angeles National Forest : Public Input Sought

Share

Officials of the Angeles National Forest are soliciting public comments today on local projects that could be included in a federally funded outdoor and recreation program.

Angeles officials will submit proposals for the program, known as the President’s Recreation Initiative on America’s Great Outdoors. It will provide funds for recreation, wildlife and fisheries during the next three years.

“The public is our partner in managing the Angeles National Forest,” said Mike Rogers, Angeles supervisor. “We want them involved with us in developing projects that will be included in our package.”
