United Seeks Brazil, Mexico Routes: United Airlines said it applied with the U.S. Department of Transportation for authority to provide daily service between Orlando, Fla., and Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, Brazil. The carrier also sought authority for daily flights between Orlando and Mexico City. The flights would begin either late this year or in early 1992.
