Countywide : MWD Customers May Get Rebates
Ventura County residents who use water supplied by Metropolitan Water District of Southern California may be eligible for $100 rebates if they install low-flow bathroom fixtures.
Under a program approved Tuesday, residents of Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Oxnard, Camarillo and nearby unincorporated areas who use MWD water could receive the rebates beginning in November.
MWD directors approved the $632,000 program to provide rebates for 5,000 water-saving toilets. The program would also provide free, low-flow shower heads.
