I want The Times to know that I and no doubt many other readers are offended by the deletion of so-called graphic language from news coverage.

Words alone are never as offensive as the action of censorship by those who purport to give the complete story.

Our language is made rich by the many ways things and ideas can be described. It is the responsibility of a newspaper to give an accurate and complete report without the embellishment, amendment or deletion of language that is relevant to a story.
