Actor Takes Legal Action Against Guild: Saying he was the subject of illegal union retaliation, Erik Estrada filed an unfair labor practices charge against the Screen Actors Guild. Estrada told the National Labor Relations Board in Los Angeles that SAG tried to fine him after he left the union this spring in a dispute over membership dues. The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation charges that SAG violated a 1988 Supreme Court decision that permitted union members to pay only those portions of their dues spent on collective bargaining, contract administration and grievance adjustment. SAG declined to comment.
