CAMARILLO : Masked Gunman Robs Liquor Store
A young man wearing a nylon stocking over his face and armed with a handgun fled with about $380 from a liquor store in Camarillo, a Ventura County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said Wednesday.
A clerk was alone in the Best Buy Wine & Lotto store on Pickwick Drive when the robbery occurred about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, Sgt. Keith Lazz said.
The robber was described as Latino, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 140 pounds. He fled on foot, the clerk said.
