OUT OF FILM? The supervisors’ lean new budget spells doom for the county’s film liaison office, but officials hope its functions will somehow survive. It helps TV and movie people arrange filming throughout the county, which can translate to big bucks to the local economy. The Environmental Management Agency may take over its tasks. . . . “The county will continue to be involved in the film industry,” says the county personnel director, Russ Patton.
