The Doctors’ House in Glendale derives its name from the series of prominent physicians who have lived there.

In the late 1800s, Glendale real estate entrepreneur E. T. Bryan began construction of the Victorian home in the Queen Anne style. Because of hard times, the building lay vacant until 1895, when the first doctor bought the house.

In 1977, the Glendale City Council recommended that the dwelling be preserved, and major restoration began in 1979.
