Cockburn justifies clinging to his thoroughly discredited communist wish-fantasies (such as nostalgic yearning for the workers’ paradise of the brutal Vietnamese and Cuban revolution) by informing us that he was “born into a communist family.”
So was Boris Yeltsin. One of these two gentlemen, however, has managed to overcome his congenital disability.
