American Andre Cason won the 100 meters in 9.99 seconds to beat Dennis Mitchell at an international track meet in Koblenz, Germany. Michael Johnson, who won the 200 meters in the recent World Championships at Tokyo and ran this year’s fastest 400 meters, took third place in the 100 to make it an all-American medal sweep.
