The Kings released eight players and returned two players to their European teams, reducing the club’s training camp roster to 61.
The Kings released forwards Rick Berens, Don Granato, Eric Lemarque, Denis LeBlanc and Brett Seguin; defensemen Jason Knox and Kip Noble and goaltender Sean Basilio.
They also released center Daniel Rydmark and goaltender Pauli Jaks to Swedish teams.
