Israel’s Shamir seems to have hit upon a wonderful method of meeting the housing requirements of his growing population. His scheme certainly warrants study by other nations, like us, whose people are to a considerable extent inadequately housed.
The U.S. could start laying foundations on Canadian land or, for those who prefer a balmier climate, Mexican, and then request one of our affluent friends to come up with the money needed for construction.
