Car Insurance Dilemma

In response to “Drivers Finding Search for Insurance More Difficult,” front page, Sept. 10:

May I suggest the following: Every person who is currently being overcharged on his or her auto insurance, simply let your policy lapse. Good drivers need not worry. Two months of reduced premiums will make the insurance companies start crying! Rest assured, at that point Proposition 103 will prevail!
