Music Still on Hold: The Chicago Symphony has canceled a second round of concerts because of striking musicians, again delaying the start of the orchestra’s season. Thursday and Friday performances, which were to have been conducted by new music director Daniel Barenboim, have been called off. However, Barenboim will conduct a free concert Saturday at Grant Park.
