Prudential Pulls Out of Chrysler Offering: Prudential Securities Inc. said it has pulled out of Chrysler Corp.’s planned offering of 33 million common shares after one of its analysts would not recommend buying shares in the nation’s No. 3 auto maker. Prudential analyst Phillip Fricke said after looking at the company’s stock prospectus that he could not recommend changing his rating on the stock from a hold to a buy. “How can you tell a client to participate in a deal unless you’re recommending purchase of the stock?” Fricke asked. Prudential was a small underwriter with 425,000 shares.
