Autism Center Moves to a New Facility
The Claremont Autism Center has moved to a new, modern facility on the Claremont McKenna College campus.
The center, formerly based at Claremont Graduate School, has moved into the Leon Strauss Foundation Autism Clinic, a set of new laboratories which includes a childrens’ playroom outfitted with video recording equipment.
At the center, Prof. Marjorie Charlop and student interns will work with 10 autistic children and their parents.
Research is aimed at encouraging appropriate behavior with a system of rewards.
