Alpha Micro Expects to Post Profit: Alpha Microsystems Inc., a Santa Ana maker of business computers, said it expects to report second-quarter net income of $60,000 to $70,000, or 1 cent to 3 cents a share. That contrasts with a loss of $1.2 million, or 41 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. For the quarter ended Aug. 25, the company said it expects to post revenue of $11.5 million to $12 million a share, down 13% from $13.6 million a year earlier.
