Nation IN BRIEF : ARIZONA : 3 Indicted in Deaths at Buddhist Temple

Authorities announced murder charges against three more men in the killing of nine people at a Buddhist temple west of Phoenix. Four people have now been formally charged in what the sheriff calls a drug-driven robbery and killing spree. Six Thai monks, two male disciples and an elderly nun were found shot to death at the Wat Promkunaram temple on Aug. 10. Murder indictments were announced against Leo Valdez Bruce, 28, and Marcus Felix Nunez, 19, and Dante Parker, 20. An earlier indictment charged Michael Lawrence McGraw, 28. All four are from Tucson.
