Texas Roundup: Gov. Ann W. Richards of Texas, stating that film and television are a priority on her state’s economic development agenda, is calling on political and entertainment industry consultant Marlene Saritzky, 32, to strengthen the Lone Star State’s connection to the Hollywood community. Saritzky has been named to the newly created post of director of the Office of Music, Film, Television and Multi-Media Industries and will guide efforts to attract motion picture and TV production to Texas.
