Tine Moberg of Norway in Europe dinghy class, Larisa Moskalenko of the Soviet Union in 470 and Penny Way of England in sailboard won gold medals in the International Yacht Racing Union’s World Women’s Sailing Championship at Long Beach.

Americans won bronze medals in each class, including top-ranked J.J. Isler of La Jolla, with crew Pam Healy, who won two of the last three races in 470. Diane Burton of Annapolis, Md., and Jayne Fenner of Sarasota, Fla., received medals in Europe dinghy and sailboard.
