World IN BRIEF : YUGOSLAVIA : 6 Die in Continued Violence in Croatia

Fighting flared in several parts of Croatia as the federal army surrendered more barracks besieged by militias of the secessionist republic. The sporadic violence continued despite a cease-fire signed last week. At least six people were reported killed and 70 injured in the latest fighting. Meanwhile, a long column of army vehicles was seen heading out of Belgrade in the direction of Croatia. A Western diplomat said the column included tanks and heavy artillery.
