CONFUSING ISSUE: Orange County magazine (circulation 21,000) is expected today to announce its retirement. Actually, it disappeared a few months back, and its publisher, Mark N. Marth, is coming clean. Marth admits that the magazine and a sister publication, California Homes and lifestyles which will take over for it, have been identical in recent months with the exception of the names and cover photographs. “When we approach advertisers,” said Marth, “it kind of gets them confused.”
