MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD

Gerald Early states that the Nation of Islam borrowed its “dietetic pretensions from the Christian Scientists.” The idea is laughable, because there are none to borrow.

As a lifelong Christian Scientist very familiar with the writings of Mary Baker Eddy and the rules governing church members, I can state categorically that there are absolutely no rules, guidelines or even suggestions about proper or improper food or diet in the teachings or bylaws of Christian Science.
