PLATFORM : Freed to Learn

Share

The students here at Notre Dame enjoy the freedom, the lack of competition, in terms of competing for attention from male students and feeling that they have to compete with each other in terms of the way they look, the way they’re dressing. They’re not being judged on that criteria at all.

So it’s a much more comfortable environment for students on the secondary level, who are going through so much emotional turmoil anyway. They’re free of (co-educational school pressures) when they’re here, and they can really concentrate on their studies, on their academics. And they perform very well as a result.

There are plenty of opportunities for social interaction with male students from other schools. So, academically and socially, in terms of their own personal development and personal esteem, it’s wonderful.
