Beef Industry Council Picks New Ad Agency: The Beef Industry Council is dropping San Francisco-based Ketchum Advertising, the agency responsible for the campaign that has been describing beef as “real food for real people” for nearly five years. The council, a federation of 44 state organizations that promote the consumption of beef, said it had selected the ad agency Leo Burnett Co. to handle its $25-million to $30-million account.
