Flower Festival: Management Resources in Tustin, a theme park consulting firm operated by three former Walt Disney Co. executives, is expecting 4 million visitors to see the AmeriFlora ’92 international festival it is producing near Columbus, Ohio, next summer.
The festival will include a series of exhibits themed around flowers and horticulture. There will be a “dinosaur discovery dig,” simulated rides through outer space and a fully restored 1895 carousel.
More than 30 nations are expected to participate in the horticultural competition at the show, which will be held at an 88-acre site about three miles from Columbus.
